Mike Tomajczyk (better known as Coach Mike) brings over 25 years of coaching experience to the Patriots Baseball team. He is the father of 6 children (5-boys) with his wife of 37 years, Diane. Mike has personal experience coaching all levels of baseball from Rec-Ball thru High School Varsity. His passion is mentoring young men through athletics, and in 2008 first started coaching with the CVHAA Patriots. Before becoming Patriot Baseball’s head coach, Mike coached its Middle School, JV, and Varsity programs with the goal of bringing out the God-given potential in every one of his players. In addition to his time with the Patriots, Mike has also coached for several years with the Virginia Swamp Things–a successful travel baseball team located in Central Virginia with programs for all ages through 18u. Several of his players have moved on to college teams. With his years of background as both a father and coach working with young men, Mike is a firm believer that “Attitude is Everything” and that focusing on hard work and character are the key to creating a successful team.
